Hotel Lorette

Paris, France

Situated in a typical residential district full of local cafés and restaurants, Hôtel Lorette is set between the Palais Opéra Garnier and the Sacré-Coeur Basilica and offers an interesting vantage point into authentic Parisian life. Simple yet charming and full of character, its contemporary style effortlessly contrasts with its classic Parisian features such as the antique wooden spiral staircase. Public areas feature exposed masonry and stylish modern furniture, while the rooms are decorated with cheery tones and photographs of chic Parisian apartments. Each one features wrought-iron balconies with views of Notre-Dame-de-Lorette or the hotel’s inner courtyard. Starting in the afternoon and continuing late into the evening, complimentary soft drinks are served in the lobby along with pastries and other sweet treats.

OUR OPINION:

Hôtel Lorette blends contemporary style with an antique Parisian finish, and offers an attentive, friendly service. We like its quiet residential location, which is still close to local restaurants and the Palais Opéra Garnier.

Rooms

The contemporary rooms at Hôtel Lorette are simple in style, with splashes of reds and blues, and subtle touches paying tribute to the Eiffel Tower. The large windows with their wrought-iron balconies allow abundant natural light to stream through and offer views of Notre-Dame-de-Lorette or the hotel’s inner courtyard. Complimentary Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, air conditioning and minibars with soft drinks come as standard here. The modern bathrooms feature a walk-in shower or shower over bath depending on the room type.

Location

Hôtel Lorette is conveniently situated right around the corner from the Saint-Georges metro station. It's about a 15-minute walk from the Palais Opéra Garnier, the Sacré-Coeur Basilica, and the major department stores of Paris. Located in a more local spot away from most other hotels, it offers an insight into everyday life in the capital.

Food and drink

In the morning, a hearty buffet breakfast is served in the airy vaulted cellar. From the early afternoon, guests can enjoy complimentary soft drinks in the lobby. You'll also find a café here, which opens late into the evening and serves pastries and other sweet treats. While there isn't a restaurant on the hotel’s premises, there are many restaurants and bistros nearby serving classic French dishes.
