Named after some of Split鈥檚 most celebrated residents, all ten guest rooms are individually designed and feature Romanesque, Gothic and Renaissance-era decor. Varying in size and layout, all have ample living space, comfortable beds with Egyptian cotton linens, parquet flooring, and Swarovski crystal lighting. There鈥檚 also flatscreen TV鈥檚 with satellite channels, minibars, air conditioning, soundproofed windows, and Wi-Fi access. Bathrooms have bathtubs, heated towel rails, bathrobes, and toiletries.
Location
You鈥檒l be staying on the southwest corner of People鈥檚 Square, just a short walk from the extraordinary Diocletian鈥檚 Palace. The central location means that any part of the walled city or waterfront promenade can be reached in less than five minutes. There鈥檚 also a selection of well-priced restaurants and shops nearby. The entrance to Marjan Hill is 15 minutes away.
Food and drink
Breakfast is served in the hotel鈥檚 lounge, just off reception. You can enjoy a buffet spread as well as 脿 la carte options, coffee, and fresh juices. While the hotel does not offer lunch and dinner, the staff will happily help with restaurant recommendations and reservations.
Facilities and activities
The hotel has a 24-hour front desk, library with guidebooks and magazines, and luggage storage. Laundry and dry cleaning services can be arranged on request.
Accessibility
Due to the historic status of the building, access to the hotel鈥檚 rooms and reception area is by a number of stairs. However, staff are insistent that guests are not allowed to carry anything heavier than a wine glass, so help with luggage is available.
