The Windsor Palace

Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

At the Windsor Palace you're in the heart of Rio where you'll have access to one of the world’s most famous beaches.

The hotel is ideal for those wanting a comfortable stay, a warm reception, and an amiable atmosphere, while also being close by to some of the best bars, restaurants, and shops in the city.

OUR OPINION:

A good-value option right in the heart of Copacabana. The hotel has been recently renovated to include soundproof floors and windows, keeping city noise to a minimum.

Excellent

Rooms

The rooms at the hotel are modestly adorned with all modern amenities. Those from the seventh floor upward have balconies, while those from the 14th floor upward have views of Copacabana Beach. The hotel is very flexible when it comes to room configuration, which is part of what makes the Windsor Palace ideal for both families and couples.

Location

Located right in the middle of Copacabana, a stay at the Windsor Palace gives guests easy access to many of the city’s top attractions. While not right on the beach, the hotel is only one block back, so access is easy. Meanwhile, the rooftop pool offers a great alternative to the beach.

Food and drink

Your stay at the Windsor Palace includes buffet breakfast in the on-site restaurant. The hotel also offers an à la carte service for lunch and dinner, with a focus on Brazilian cuisine. 24-hour room service is also available.

Families

The Windsor Palace is one of our first choices for families visiting Rio. Not only does it provide great value for money, but connecting rooms are easy to come by and an extra bed can be added to most rooms.

Facilities and activities

The hotel has several recreational areas, 24-hour room service, a sauna, a gym, and a terrace with a pool which offers views of Copacabana Beach over the rooftops of adjacent streets.
