Hotel Brosundet

Hotel Brosundet

Ã…±ô±ð²õ³Ü²Ô»å, Norway

Situated in the heart of town, Hotel Brosundet is a family-owned boutique property with an intimate, welcoming atmosphere. Like many of the buildings in Ã…±ô±ð²õ³Ü²Ô»å, the hotel was built in 1918 and was once used as a warehouse where cod was dried and salted. The 131 rooms contain many of the building’s original features, lending the hotel a rustic-chic style. The rooms vary in shape and size, but all share a Scandinavian minimalist decor with a gray and white palette accented by light wood.

You can visit Butikken, a café on the hotel’s front corner, for your morning coffee or freshly baked goods. For lunch and dinner, Restaurant Apotekergata No. 5 serves a rotating menu that features locally grown ingredients. The adjacent Arkivet Bar is popular with locals and hotel guests alike and serves a large selection of wine, beer, champagne, and cocktails.

OUR OPINION:

We love how intimate and home-like Hotel Brosundet feels, despite the large number of rooms. Little things, like the fireplace and local artwork on the walls, create a warm and inviting atmosphere.
