Located in the heart of the UNESCO-protected White City, a district celebrated for its large collection of historical Bauhaus style buildings and eclectic mix of Modernist architecture, The Norman sets the bar high for Israel’s boutique hotel hospitality. Housed in two pre-Bauhaus buildings divided by a leafy citrus garden, it impresses with glamorous 1920s style decor, a rooftop infinity pool, a spa, and a wellness terrace that overlooks the city’s skyscrapers. There’s 50 individually designed rooms and luxury suites, all of which feature bespoke artworks, lavish soft furnishings, and fresh flowers. Modern amenities include Bluetooth radios, Nespresso machines, minibars stocked with premium spirits, and comfortable beds with Frette linens.

Elsewhere, you’ll find the ground floor Alena Restaurant for European-inspired gourmet cuisine with fresh Mediterranean ingredients, the Tel Aviv outpost of the London-based Dinings for Izakaya-style Japanese tapas, and the 1940s style Library Bar for light meals, cocktails, and nightcaps. The hotel also has a team of helpful staff who will advise on nearby attractions, including the beach, the Rothschild Boulevard, and the Neve Tzedek that has become one of the city’s trendiest suburbs for its village-like atmosphere and wealth of restaurants, cafés, galleries, and craft shops.
