The Dylan

The Dylan

Dublin, Ireland

A boutique hotel situated just south of the Grand Canal, the Dylan has individually styled rooms and well-reputed dining, just a short distance from the main sites of the city. Its 72 rooms are spacious and comfortable, with a tasteful contemporary style. Each is fitted with amenities such as a Nespresso machine, underfloor bathroom heating and a flat-screen HDTV.

The Tavern Restaurant uses seasonal and locally-sourced ingredients in its creative dishes, while the terrace provides an outdoor space in which to relax amid bamboo plants and heated lights.

The property is nestled on a quiet Victorian street, close to some of the city's most popular restaurants and bars. It takes around 20 minutes to walk to St Stephen's Green, around 15 minutes to Merrion Square, and just under half an hour to walk to Trinity College.

OUR OPINION:

Although not a central property, we think the Dylan's location makes it feel more restful, which the outdoor terrace and quiet street setting accentuates. Rooms here are at times a bit dark but we think the decor is attractive and the room size spacious.
