&Beyond Chobe Under Canvas Camp

Chobe National Park, Botswana

Chobe Under Canvas is one of &Beyond's semi-permanent camps which offers clients true "luxury camping".

The accommodation is in one of five spacious walk-in tents, each complete with en suite bathroom facilities on deck floors, including a private flush toilet and bucket shower. While the accommodation at the camp is fairly simple and traditional, the service, quality of safari guiding and standard of food are absolutely superb and equal to those found at any of Botswana's more luxurious permanent lodges.

An Under Canvas camp is ideal for those seeking a return to the more traditional safari without compromising on quality. However camping is an adventurous way to experience Botswana and not recommended for the faint-hearted!

The camps are fully serviced and meals are served alfresco surrounded by the sounds of the Africa bush. The Chobe Camp is located in a selection of around eight different locations in the national park, moving between these settings every four or five days to minimize impact on the environment. The range of bush locations mean that guests here can enjoy privacy away from some of the busier areas of the national park and really get the most out of their stay in Chobe.

Activities from the camp include game drives and boat trips on the Chobe River.
