Hotel DeBrett

Located in the heart of Auckland, Hotel DeBrett was built in 1841 as Auckland's first hotel. It operated for over 118 years and survived two fires, the first in 1858 destroying the original building that was subsequently rebuilt in 1925. Throughout its history, the cocktail bar has been the soul of the hotel, and many Aucklanders hold fond memories of it. Today, this iconic building has been stylishly reinterpreted into a small, boutique hotel.

Every room is individually designed and complemented with an eclectic mix of furniture, fittings, and artwork. The famous cocktail bar has been meticulously restored and is seen as one of Auckland's premier meeting places, while the onsite restaurant in the hub of the hotel serves contemporary New Zealand cuisine.
