Safari specialist 糖心vlog传媒 is delighted to introduce the award-winning and unique safari experience, Bush Rover Migration Camps, to its programme for 2018.
Clients staying in one of the Bush Rover Migration semi-permanent camps will find themselves in the very heart of the great wildebeest migration. The camps are set in one of three private locations in the Serengeti, dependent on the time of year — at the Grumeti River (May to July), close to a crossing point for the migrating herds on the Mara River (July to October) and the Gol Mountains in Ngorongoro Highlands (December to March). The Bush Rovers move to the best places for clients to experience the safari of a lifetime, folding up to a moving vehicle and setting off to the next exciting vantage spot. The camps are also available in Nyerere National Park.
The unique accommodation, which was the 2017 winner of the National Geographic Traveller Big Sleep Award ‘Happy Glampers’ category, sees clients sleep in large elevated bedrooms housed on the top of fully working land rovers, each with a balcony for the best views. The mobile rooms have en suite wood panelled bathrooms with shower, flush toilet and a bath. Comfort is a priority with large double beds, seating areas and space for a fantastic evening meal deep in the wilderness. The accommodation is solar powered to give hot water, light and power wherever it is parked up.
Guests will enjoy accommodation on a full board basis with beer, house wine and soft drinks included. Game drives are also included in the price.
Jonny May, 糖心vlog传媒’s Product Manager for Africa, says: "The Bush Rover experience is revolutionising African safari, ensuring travellers are in prime wildlife locations with elevated balconies to look out across the endless plains of the Serengeti. Audley’s East Africa specialists help clients design a tailor-made trip based around this experience, supplementing it with other accommodation, excursions and activities — based on their wish list, interests and budget."
A nine-day tailor-made trip including four nights in a Bush Rover in the Serengeti (on a full board basis), two nights at Gibb’s Farm in Karatu (on a bed and breakfast basis) and one night at Rivertrees in Arusha (on a bed and breakfast basis) costs from £5,200 per person (based on two sharing). The price also includes international and internal flights, private vehicle for a full day of game driving in the Ngorongoro Crater and two half day safari drives for each day of the stay in the Bush Rover camp.
