-
Your morning will be spent at leisure relaxing after your international flights. On your doorstep is the 4 km sandy beach of Jimbaran, one of Bali's finest beaches. In the afternoon, a small boat will be waiting to take you on a private cruise around Bali's coastline. As the sun sets, the crew will hand you a glass of champagne and canap茅s to enjoy the moment and toast the start of your holiday. You may like to try one of the local seafood restaurants on Jimbaran Beach for dinner. You can select your fish from that day's catch and then dine on the beach under the stars.
-
Today, your guide will transfer you to Bali's spiritual and artistic hub, Ubud. In the evening, your guide will accompany you to experience a traditional Balinese kecak dance performance. Based on an ancient Hindu story, the dance is a spectacle to behold as actors dressed in traditional costumes re-tell the story whilst a chorus of men chant and sway around them.
-
Today, you will have a guided tour that gives a unique insight into Ubud and the Balinese culture. The tour takes you away from Ubud's tourist areas to give you an authentic insight and experience. During the tour, you can interact with locals who live and work in Ubud.
-
Approximately one hour from Ubud lies the active volcano of Mount Batur. The volcano has a spectacular setting within a large ancient caldera next to a lake and hot springs. Over time, several craters have formed on the volcano. Today, you will trek to one of the lower craters, which provides panoramic views of the caldera and sometimes emits steam and gases from small vents in the crater wall. As the sun sets, you will be served eggs cooked in the soil beneath you before returning to Ubud. We can provide treks to the highest crater on the volcano for more active clients.
-
Day at leisure to enjoy one of the many activities on offer in Ubud. You may like to visit one of the area's many characterful temples, try your hand at one of the local cooking courses, experience the region's white-water rafting or enjoy a private yoga class in a peaceful setting overlooking the river.
-
Today, you will transfer up to the peaceful highlands village of Munduk, an area off the main tourist trail renowned for its views, walking trails, and waterfalls. On route to Munduk, you will stop for a cycle ride through the terraces of rice fields at Jatiluwih, which have been preserved as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will also visit one of Bali's most iconic temples, Pura Bratan, which once featured on one of the Indonesian Rupiah notes.
-
Today adventurous clients can have a unique experience of the surrounding scenery by touring the area in an off-road dirt buggy! The tour includes stops for a paddle in a traditional wooden canoe, a walk through pristine rainforest and an insight into the area's coffee production. Other tours exist for clients who would prefer not to ride in an off-road dirt buggy.
-
Day at leisure to enjoy the area. You may like to join one of the local guided walks, visit some of the local waterfalls, go horse riding or enjoy some of Bali's best canyoning.
-
Your guide will collect you today for your transfer down the highlands to the small coastal town of Candidasa, located on Bali's eastern coast. In the evening you will be taken to a small market town where you will have the opportunity to eat like a local at the town's night market under the expert guidance of a local food guide.
-
Today you will have a guided tour of some of the area's cultural and historic sites. As an added twist, the tour will take place in an old convertible VW jeep, allowing you to enjoy the passing scenery with the wind in your hair! The tour ends with a picnic lunch in the unique setting of a royal water palace.
-
A local guide will transport you up into the hills this morning where bicycles will be waiting to take you on a scenic downhill ride through villages, rice fields and plantations. The ride ends at a local beach where you can swim, relax and have lunch before returning to your hotel in the afternoon.
-
