Itinerary idea in detail

With international flights from a choice of airports including London, Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle, Edinburgh and Glasgow.

  • Today you begin your journey by boarding your international outbound flight to Keflavík. After collecting your luggage, your private driver will take you to the Blue Lagoon to relax and unwind in the geothermal hot springs. Your admission includes entrance to the Blue Lagoon, a silica mud mask, a towel, and a drink of your choice. After a day at the spa, your driver will take you to the Golden Circle, where you'll be staying amid geothermal waters.

  • Today, you will have a private tour of the Golden Circle for your first glimpse of Iceland's renowned scenery. Highlights include the Gullfoss waterfall, Geysir and Strokkur, an active geothermal vent where you'll see jets of water shooting into the air every five to ten minutes. You'll indulge in a two-course meal at Friðheimar tomato farm for lunch. Here, you can enjoy eating all things tomato-themed, sitting in a warm greenhouse among the vines, and watching the bees hard at work. After lunch, your private driver will take you to Þingvellir National Park, where you'll have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to snorkel between the Eurasian and North American tectonic plates.

  • You'll spend today on a shared Superjeep adventure to the beautiful Þórsmörk nature reserve, inaccessible by most vehicles. Your Superjeep will cross rivers and meander through lava fields before ending in an area surrounded by glaciers and mountains. You'll then have the chance to take a short hike, which offers incredible views over the valley.

  • This morning, you'll travel farther east with your private driver before heading out on a small-group hiking tour on the Skaftafell glacier, part of the vast Vatnajökull ice cap. Equipped with an ice axe, crampons and a harness, your group will hike up onto the glacier to learn about the formation and the current conditions of glaciers in Iceland. Later, you'll continue onto Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon for a shared Zodiac boat ride that sees you weave between floating icebergs. This is a great way to explore the lagoon away from the crowds and learn more about its geology from your knowledgeable guide. At the end of the day, you'll be driven to your hotel just minutes from the Glacier Lagoon.

  • Embark on a private tour of Iceland's south coast. Your tour will encompass black-sand beaches, jagged sea stacks, notable volcanoes and a vast sweep of wilderness that offers ample opportunities for hiking. Rugged mountains, powerful waterfalls and a smattering of hot pools provide a variety of experiences, with a network of walking trails and off-road tracks linking the various sights. This afternoon, you'll have a chance to go for a horseback ride along Iceland's dramatic south coast.

  • Today, you'll explore some of the lesser-known areas of southern Iceland with a small group and knowledgeable local guide. Journeying by Superjeep, you'll head into the Highlands to Landmannalaugar. En route, you'll visit waterfalls and canyons and travel over lava fields. Once in Landmannalaugar, you'll hike through the steaming volcanic hills streaked with green, orange, red and purple. After your hike, you can soak in a naturally heated stream before heading back across the lava fields.

  • Today you'll be driven to Húsafell in the west of Iceland, a great base to explore the area's fjords, valleys, volcanoes, waterfalls and glaciers. En route, you'll stop at Krauma Geothermal Baths. Krauma offers five relaxing natural geothermal baths, a cold tub to get your blood circulation going, two calming saunas, and a relaxation room where you can rest by the fireplace while listening to soothing music.

  • This afternoon, join a small-group guided Superjeep tour to ³¢²¹²Ô²µÂáö°ì³Ü±ô±ô glacier. You'll have the unusual opportunity to venture inside the glacier, exploring its subterranean network of icy tunnels. You'll have a guided walking tour into a series of manmade tunnels and caves that reach far into the glacial ice.

  • Today you'll embark on a private tour of the Snæfellsnes Peninsula. You'll spend the day stopping at some of the area's most beautiful places, such as Snæfellsjökull National Park. As this is a private tour, your guide will be able to tailor it to your specific interests.

  • This morning, you'll be driven to ¸é±ð²â°ìÂá²¹±¹Ã°ì, where you have the rest of the day at leisure. We suggest exploring the distinctive architecture of Harpa Concert Hall on the waterfront and visiting Aurora ¸é±ð²â°ìÂá²¹±¹Ã°ì, which recreates the experience of viewing the northern lights and explains the science behind this natural phenomenon.

  • After a morning of continuing to explore the city, you'll join a group cooking class. Here, you'll learn how to make a few traditional Icelandic dishes, as well as hear how these relate to the local folklore of the Icelandic sagas.

  • You'll be collected from your hotel this morning and driven to the airport in time for your flight. Your return flight will arrive the same day.
