La Bastide de Marie, Provence

La Bastide de Marie

²Ñé²Ô±ð°ù²ú±ð²õ, France

Set in an old stone farmhouse, La Bastide de Marie feels like staying in an elegant Provençal home with excellent service. Originally a farm dating back to the 18th century, this property is in the heart of the countryside surrounded by olive trees, vines, lavender bushes and a lovely terrace with creeping vines and wisteria where you can enjoy dinner or an apéritif.

Its location in the village of ²Ñé²Ô±ð°ù²ú±ð²õ is ideal for exploring Provence, with surrounding villages just a short drive away and Avignon reachable by taxi within an hour. Emanating classic elegance, the rooms at La Bastide de Marie are just as peaceful and warm as the property itself, each room representing a particular shade and style of the region, such as ‘mimosa yellow’ and ‘honey orange’. The swimming pool is a beautiful feature as it wraps and curves around the rock in the terraced garden.

OUR OPINION:

We love this property for its countryside location and its traditional stone building which has been tastefully restored inside. Most of all, we like its picturesque terrace and restaurant.
