Today you鈥檒l enjoy one of Croatia鈥檚 most traditional dishes at a local home in the cultural hub of the Konavle Valley. Here, you鈥檒l learn about the peka, a cast-iron dish with a dome-shaped lid which is immersed in burning charcoal to slowly cook the ingredients inside. You鈥檒l see the meal being prepared, sit and eat with your hosts, and finish by tasting homemade rakija (brandy) infused with local herbs and fruits, before returning to Dubrovnik.

Departing Croatia today, you鈥檒l journey south, crossing the border into Montenegro. Here you'll enjoy a private tour of the cobbled streets, palaces, and churches of Kotor and nearby Perast and visit the artificial island, Our Lady of the Rocks, which sits in the bay and is topped by an 18th-century church. Afterwards you will settle into your hotel in Perast.
