The HanumanAlaya Villa is a charming boutique hotel that's full of character. Its spacious rooms are tastefully decorated, combining Cambodian artefacts with teak fittings and whitewashed walls to create a truly charismatic setting.

The small pool and garden area offers the perfect place for guests to relax after touring the temples, whilst the Buddha Spa is available for those who truly wish to unwind during their stay. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, notably including a set menu option for those wishing to taste a few of the culinary delights on offer in Cambodia. Guests are also welcome to use the pool, spa and restaurant facilities at the sister property, HanumanAlaya Boutique Residence.

Rooms

Accommodation is spacious and well decorated throughout, featuring a range of amenities including air conditioning, complimentary Wi-Fi, TVs, safes, hair dryers, minibars and tea/coffee making facilities. All en suite, the bathrooms feature a separate bathtub and walk-in shower area.

Guests can choose from four room and suite categories. The Deluxe rooms are located on the ground and first floors, featuring double or twin beds, while the more spacious Deluxe Suite rooms have a seating area and can fit additional roll-away beds for families. Larger still is the Pool View Suite, which is located on the first floor with a balcony overlooking the pool, while the Terrace Suite on the ground floor comes with a private furnished terrace.

Location

The hotel is set along the river on the edge of town, just a short tuk-tuk ride from the centre. Its location allows it to provide guests with a peaceful oasis away from the hustle and bustle of Siem Reap and is the ideal place to relax and recuperate after exploring the many sights that the area has to offer.

Food and drink

Reahoo Restaurant serves breakfast each morning consisting of both Western and Asian food. It also serves lunch and dinner, with an 脿聽la carte menu featuring Western and Cambodian food. A set menu option is also served of Khmer food for those wishing to sample the culinary delights of the country. Meanwhile, Asura Bar serves refreshing cocktails and other beverages in a relaxing setting.

Families

The larger rooms and suites can accommodate children on roll-out beds, and there's a pool in the property's grounds; although the shallower pool at the sister property may be more suitable.

Honeymooners

Those looking to celebrate a special event will be well-catered for at the HanumanAlaya Villa and the staff are on hand to provide additional special touches to your stay, including fresh flowers on arrival. You can also book a couples' spa experience.

Facilities and activities

Facilities include an outdoor swimming pool graduating from 0.5 to 1.8 metres, a spa and a lounge with a library of books. A laundry service is available for an additional charge and guests are treated to a welcome drink and fruit on arrival. The hotel provides a money exchange for dollars only and can arrange tuk-tuk rides and trips to the temples, as well as offering bicycle hire.
