Belmond Royal Scotsman

Edinburgh, The UK

The Belmond Royal Scotsman is an opulent train that provides a nostalgic and relaxing experience. The train journeys through the Scottish Highlands, allowing you to soak up the wild and rugged beauty of the landscape from the comfort of stylish carriages, which have been carefully resorted with mahogany paneling and plush Scottish fabrics. You can relax in your private cabin, the two vintage dining cars where chefs serve delectable Scottish fare paired with the finest wines and whiskies, the Observation Car and bar, or the Bamford Haybarn Spa carriage, which offers a variety of treatments. Interspersed with unique sightseeing excursions to fully showcase the culture and scenery of the Highlands, a journey aboard the Belmond Royal Scotsman provides the opportunity to dress up and experience the grandeur of train travel while exploring the landscape of Scotland.

Please note that there is a strict dress code on board: while during the day comfortable, casual attire is recommended, in the evenings a jacket and tie is required for informal dinners and black tie, tuxedo or a kilt for formal events.
