The Oberoi Marrakesh

The Oberoi Marrakesh

Marrakesh, Morocco

Located around half an hour’s drive from Djemaa el Fna square, The Oberoi Marrakesh is set among its own picturesque gardens, orchards and olive groves, with views to the Atlas Mountains. The building itself is designed to be reminiscent of a Moroccan palace, taking inspiration from Medersa Ben Youssef — the ancient Islamic college in Marrakesh — and incorporates elaborately carved stone doorways, intricate tile work and reflective pools.

The 84 spacious rooms and villas have an elegant style, with high ceilings, wooden floors and ornate wall carvings framing the beds. Each room includes a private terrace overlooking the gardens and the deluxe villas include their own private pools.

There is also a large, outdoor pool for all guests to use, a luxurious spa and three restaurants offering Moroccan and international cuisine as well as a bar with panoramic views over the Atlas Mountains.

OUR OPINION:

We love this hotel because it provides a peaceful oasis, among the olive groves, away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
