Cacao Plantation Tour

You will be picked up from your hotel and taken to a cacao plantation to learn about the secrets and marvels of one of the favorite foods of mankind — chocolate!

The tour will take approximately three hours as you take a guided walk across the Tirimbina suspension bridge, visit the cacao plantation, discover the wild species of cacao and hear about its natural and cultural history.

You will be taken through the whole process of turning cacao to chocolate, including the harvesting, fermentation process and dying. You will also have the opportunity to taste some local chocolate before returning to your hotel.
