Housed in a 19th-century palace in the heart of Seville鈥檚 historic quarter, the Mercer Hotel Sevilla is an elegant boutique property offering premium comfort in an enviable location. The hotel sits on a quiet street within easy walking distance of several of the city鈥檚 major sights.聽

A palatial entrance and glass-roofed central atrium of marble open onto a winding marble staircase that leads up to the 12 rooms. Simple in design, the rooms offer the highest quality from the furnishings and linens to the bath products. A highlight of the hotel is the roof terrace with its minimal white lines, solarium and pool, and views over the surrounding rooftops of the city.

Downstairs, the intimate, low-lit FIZZ Bar serves cocktails in a subtly elegant setting and is popular with guests and locals alike. The hotel鈥檚 main restaurant, the Restaurante Mar铆a Luisa, serves an 脿 la carte breakfast, as well as lunch and dinner featuring traditional recipes and local ingredients.

We love the intimate atmosphere and incredible attention to detail at the Hotel Sevilla. The beds here are particularly comfortable.

Rooms

Every aspect of the rooms is of the highest quality and designed for comfort. Plush white linens cover the oak beds, and the amenities include a TV, air conditioning, tea- and coffee-making facilities and free Wi-Fi. You can help yourself to non-alcoholic drinks from the minibar. The en suite bathrooms are just as high quality, with designer toiletries, bathrobes, slippers and relaxing rainfall showers.

Location

Surrounded by some of the best restaurants and tapas bars in the city, the hotel is in an excellent location for all that Seville has to offer. You can walk to both the cathedral and the Real Alc谩zar (royal palace) in less than ten minutes. The Parque de Mar铆a Luisa, where you can visit the Plaza de Espa帽a, site of the 1929 Ibero-American Exposition, is less than a 20-minute walk away.

Food and drink

The hotel鈥檚 main restaurant, the Restaurante Mar铆a Luisa, serves an 脿 la carte breakfast, as well as lunch and dinner. The menu of traditional dishes cooked with modern flair revolves around local ingredients. The stylish, low-lit FIZZ Bar lies off the lobby and serves signature cocktails. And, you can head to the roof terrace to enjoy a drink or light snack while taking in views over Seville.
