The Royal Palissandre

The Royal Palissandre is a small hotel located on the edge of a hill in the Lower Town of Tana. The views over the capital are spectacular, particularly at sunset when the evening rays light up all the different colored houses.

There are 46 rooms, arranged over three floors. All the rooms are spacious and comfortable. They have polished wooden floors, a double bed (and often a third bed for a child), satellite television, minibar and direct dial telephone. There are sparkling en suite bathrooms with bath and shower.

The hotel has a beautiful square swimming pool with sundeck overlooking Tana and leading off from the pool is a gym and beautiful spa (open from 9am to 9pm with very reasonable prices).

There is a bar and restaurant which is situated on a terrace overlooking the city — from here you can watch and hear the hustle and bustle of the capital pass by, whilst still enjoying the calm and peaceful atmosphere of this lovely hotel.

The food is à la carte and includes local specialities as well as fine French food.
