Evening Baci Ceremony

The Baci ceremony is a mix of Animism and Buddhism. These ceremonies are common to Laos. Their purpose is to call back your own spirits to your body because they sometimes escape. This is very important to do it before or during major life events such as weddings, births, ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½, welcoming of friends, the return of someone to the family and so on.

This ceremony is followed by a traditional dance and then dinner at a restaurant. Many dishes are eaten with hands: for instance, the sticky rice is rolled between the fingers, you make some small rice balls and eat with some papaya salad or lap.
