Hotel The Peellaert

Hotel The Peellaert

Bruges, Belgium

Centrally located in Bruges, Hotel The Peellaert combines historic design elements with easy access to the main sights, making it a convenient base for your visit to the city. The building was originally the residence of Baron de Peellaert during the 18th century, but was refurbished in the 21st century as a boutique hotel. Many historical details were retained, such as original wood and marble flooring, ornate chandeliers and the intricate friezes lining the ceiling.

The lounge offers another look into the building’s past — among the vaulted ceilings, fireplaces, handmade furniture and floral decorated upholstery you’ll find portraits hanging of the previous families who lived in the residence. You can enjoy a drink in this classic room, or head outside to the terrace in the manicured garden.

The hotel, which only allows guests 18 and over, offers 50 spacious rooms that combine classic design features with modern comforts like Wi-Fi and air conditioning. It also boasts a wellness area with a spa, fitness room, hammam and steam room.
